I loathe Laundry!!

UGH I seriously hate folding and putting it away....but today I finally put all Brooklyn and Kyndal's clothes away where they belong!!!

You can't catch the ball with your face!!

BUT Q tried--LOL  He had his first game he got to play in (first one rained out, second one he had bad grades and mean mom benched him)  But after he got hit, iced it he was back out in the field, he had some good hits today too--they won 11-1!!!! Go JAYHAWKS!!!

Student of the Month!!

Zach got student of the month for April--YAY!!! Ian took him to the breakfast, where the teachers say why they nomonated him, so I ask Ian what they said...his respone "oh all good things", like WHAT I want details--gggrrr MEN--lol

Aydan's Easter Story

Aydan learned the story of Easter at preschool using easter eggs!! Enjoy this!!

2-coin-representing Judas getting paid to betry Jesus
3-rope-when they tied Jesus' hands
4-purple cloth-represents royalty when Jesus was king and the tormented him
5-thorn-for the crown of thorns
6-cross-they he was tied too and died for us
7-nails-in his hands and feet onto the cross
8-sponge-socked in vinegar instead of water when Jesus was thirsty
9-spear-when Jesus was stabbed in the side
10-gauze-when they wrapped Jesus' body for burial
11-rock-represents the tombstone that the angel rolled away
12-is EMPTY-beause Jesus is ALIVE!!!

Run Zach Run

Another trak meet down.  I have learned that track meets are very boring for parents--you hurry to get there to watch a 15 second race, then wait 2 hours for the next one--ugh Oh well it is what I have signed up for RIGHT???  Yesterday Zach did the 100m hurdles, 100m dash, 800 medley relay(ran the 400) and discus. Good Job Zach!!



2 month check up

Well as hard as it is for me to believe, Lil Miss Kyndal is 2 months old.  She weighed in at 10lbs 3 oz and grew almost 2 inches to 21 3/4 in.  She got her shots which broke my heart when she screamed and screamed (she is still fussy :( )

Aydanisms

It has been awhile since I posted these--so I am trying to remember them--lol I really need to post them as they happen!!!

So Brooklyn has the weirdest fedish...she likes to pinch elbows (or knuckels)--very strange kid I tell ya, and it drives me insane!!

HAIRCUTS

Finally got 2 kids convinced to cut their hair....now to convince the 3rd--hahaha

It's so close I can smell it....

or not smell it cause allergies have me stuffed up!! I am talking about spring....come on spring we want you here!!! I have 1 tulip that bloomed already (tulips are my favorite!!) I have to snap picks of the flowers right away because Brooklyn likes to "pick" them for me--LOL

Lou's baby bump

My littlest sis is preggers due in Sept....and of course I need to see pics of the tummy growing since I am so far away--she is 17 weeks--look how tiny she is :)

Easier said then done when the baby is screaming for 45 minutes straight for no reason I can find--ugh...she had a really fussy day and didn't sleep as much as normal, but finally she sleeps!!

Mom's Taxi

Tis the season--Sport season that is, and mom's taxi is a running!!
last night: starting at 5:30--drop Q off at baseball, home to eat, drop Z off at church, home for baths and jammies, then pick Q up, then Z--yes this is a typical night for at least 3 nights of hte week--and that doesnt include the games or track meets yet!!
Now here is the taxi: most think I need a van--really??? do I look like a van person???...we fit in the durango but not confortably--I think even a minivan would be too small!!! A huge van--really, it kinda makes my skin crawl but you never know!! I really want a suburban or something like that--BUT we have no car payment on the Dodge so I think we are stuck with it for awhile!!

 Most people recognize my car by the little people on the back window--which needs to be updated!!!

He's got talent!!

So we learned tonight that Zach can sing--lol, and he is not to bad and very confindent in front of an audience--Good Job Zach!!!

Egg-celent

We did some egg crafts today at Michaels, then we had to ge tour own to do at home. Aydan was so excited that he made grandma and aunt melinda one too!!!

To grandmother's house he goes!

Aydan was so excited he was going to "stay all night" at grandmas....he sat by the door ready to go for about a half an hour!!

when I picked him up the next day, he was so excited to tell me that the couch has a bed in it--grandma's house can't get much cooler than that!!!!
