I have been blessed with very smart kids!!!
Aydan got an academic award this morning....he was so happy and excited we were their to watch him!!

Why do I bother...

because otherwise these kids of mine would eat all the snack before I hit the Utah border!!


So this morning I put all snacks into individual snack size bags, then put some of each into a big bag for each kid....all the leftovers are in the big cooler to restock for the next stretch of miles!!!

No "tricity"

SO we are all watching tv, Q is down stairs with the littles watching a movie...The electircty goes out. Q "the tv went off, everything jsut went off" Me-"really, um we are all right here we saw it" Laughing so hard DUH!!!
Then Zach starts doing dishes "huh the garbage disposal isnt working" "really Zach the power is still off" Brooklyn then went room to room screaming "there is no tricity in your room mom, no tricity in the bathrom, OH NO no tricity in the fridge!

Seriously we went without power for 30 minutes, you would have though it was the end of the world. Ian starts putting coats on, and wanting to move the crock pot across hte street so it can be warm for dinner, Aydan wondered around like a lost puppy cause he "has nothing to do" I of course had my phone so I am still connected to the world hahahah

We would so not make it in the golden olden days at all.....camping this summer shall be interesting!!!
