I would like to think I have done a good job teaching Q this....and after watching him play baseball the past few years--some kids need their asses beat!!!
So we have taught Q--you might miss the ball, get struck out, get yelled at by the coach--OH well get over it and move on--catch the next one!! And he has been very good in brushing this stuff off! I have seen kids throw their helmets, throw bats, cuss at everyone that passes them, and cry like a baby when they miss a catch or strike out--THIS totally pisses me off!! If my child did that I would walk into the dug out and beat his ass--and he knows it!!! I can not believe parents allow their children to act this way, but they are the one who also think it is ok for their 12, 13 or 14 yr old to say the "F" word whenever they want--seriously!!! Now I know kids cuss, my kids cuss BUT if they did it in my presence--yeah soap in the mouth!!!
What is wrong with parents??? This is where this stems from--are they trying to "live" their dreams thru their kids...ugh I am all for being competitive but too many parents take it to the extreme and it is not ok!!
So here is to another baseball season, the kids and I will be on the go for sure.
I really love watching Q play him play these sports and I am teaching the others to cheer him on, be his biggest fans, we are all he has!!!
