2 mile race in the books!!

Race 2 in the 6 pack in the books!!! 2 miles in 25 min...not to bad with a busted butt!!!!

Hair cut???

And you thought only girls cut their hair, not around here....

Good morning world

Don't chew on your hair

Before

Kyndal kept putting her hair in her mouth, so I decided to chop it.... But any cute sassy cut fits her sassy attitude!!

Before (rats nest)

now that's relaxing

after

After

Broke my butt

Yeah so I fell down the stairs and I am pretty sure I broke my tail bone--or it is super duper bruised...either way hurts like hell..but only when i sit or try to get up, or in and out of the car, which does make life a little difficult!!
At least I can walk and stand, oh and lay down haha

No gluten

So my Dr strongly suggested I try gluten free for 30 days....sure why not!! Now I have not been perfect on this but I can tell a difference in my energy level!! I have only been doing it for 2 weeks, but the other day we went to Olive Garden and I love pasta so I was like it will be ok....MY tummy hurt so bad that night--lesson learned!!!!!  It is tough but I am doing it...baby steps!! and after lots of label reading I am amazed what wheat is in!!!

Run run

Holy moly, I havent ran since HS (just a few years ago) But I am determined to do this, this year!!! So I signed up for this 6 pack series, which gradually gets you into it!!
This week I ran a mile--the whole mile (thanks to Steven pushin me to keep going--I wanted to die ha)
So on Monday I started practicing my mile at 18 minutes, on race day we did it in 12.45....not to bad for an old, overweight mom of 5!!! (Oh I forgot, the course was iced over, so yeah we ran on ice, and my lungs didnt like cold air breathing at all!!!)
Now we prepare for the 2 mile in 2 weeks!!!

Baxter has it rough

His life is so rough, can't you tell!! haha he is pretty spoiled!! and now Maggie will play with him when she wants to, but the most fun is watching him and the ginormous cat!!!
He has grown so much in the past couple weeks, and by the looks of his coat he is going to be wire haired I think!!
He is doing great with his kennel too!!

Outfit of the day

She is off to the pool, didnt you know!

New jobs

Zach got a new job at a local Ice Cream and Coffee place--it is a cute little place, I sure hope it makes it!!! (and they make gluten free pastries yay!!)    And I got a  new job at the Rec center--one day a week (works for me--just wanted to get my foot in the door there!!) YAY for new jobs!!

I love this sign at Sweets!!
