my shopping experience

So here is how shopping with Ian and 5 kids goes--you might want to sit for this!!
So we start at Pennys b/c Zach needs jeans. I am helping him pick them out and B won't sit in the stroller now b/c A doesn't have too--so they are running amuk.  Ian (who is supposed to help me keep reins on them--HA) He lets them climb on the jean shelves--then WAM B falls off (great--I shake my head and I am sure roll my eyes) So we finally get everyone an outfit, check out and head on out to the mall (which you should never go to on a weekend).  The boys head off to Zumies, I gt stopped half way by a friend and we look at and chat about the baby.  Ian is supposed to be keeping an eye on B (A is in the stroller with the baby being good actually) So I turn around and go where is Brooklyn? Ian: I don't know--GEEZ are you kidding me---so as I am trying not to panic--she was over on the riding toys--UGH....Then the boys come back and wonder why it is taking us so long.  We get to ZUmies to put Q's skateboard together and I take B to claries to get hair ties and a necklace, then back to dad--I go "I am going to go feed the baby, they have to stay here with you" (because I find it difficult to chase a 2 yr with a baby on a boob)  So that gets all done and we head to Calbellas (Ian wants to get a gun--ok) We get in there and the baby is still hungry--so I go to the benches to feed her (leaving all 4 kids with dad)
Then Z, Q and A come out and sit with me. Where is B? With dad.  OK.  I send the boys to play the shooting game with Aydan, and Ian comes out--Where are all the kids? They are at the shooting game, where is B? She is with them. UM NO she isnt.....He takes off into the store to look for her, thank goodness there are so many employees someone found the poor little girl wondering around--I go in and AM DONE, so we go home (with no gun!!!)  Seriously he let her fall off the store shelves, looses her twice--I really have to do it all somedays!!!
Last night I was exhausted and went to bed at 8:30, and go "I am going to bed, can you not loose any of the children while I sleep" I thought it was funny but he did not--HAHHAHAHA
So now I just have to laugh, I really have 6 kids not 5--LOL

Swaddle the baby!!

Don't forget, the tighter the better--LOL  So Kyndal has been the only one who loves to be swaddled, and tight--if her arms get free at night--she wakes up instantly!! So a tight little wrap is what she gets!!!

Grandma and Aunt Lierin come to visit

Though their visit was short, we had a good time!!

Oh seriously this just gets funnier and funnier!!  So Aunt Lierin is here for a visit and B told her today:
B- yous have boobs, yous can feed the baby
L-no i cant, it's mommies baby she has to feed her
B-no yous has boobs
L-well you feed the baby
B-me nos boobs, I can't feeds the baby--mommy has to feed the baby

Got to get Private

So I have made my blog private.....My MIL posted about pictures being stolen off pages--which I know this has happened alot on myspace but totally spaced it and had my profile public.  So as this creeps me out I made it private by invite only so no creeps get any of my pics of my kiddos (since how they make the blog so much more entertaining and sometimes you just have to see the pictures to get the whole picture--LOL)  So I hope I get everyone who likes to read up on our day to day adventures and excitement---if not make sure they get me their email so I can add them!!

Happy 2 weeks

Wow, 2 weeks already--I am not ready for time to fly--especially since this IS the last baby!!!
She is sleeping GREAT, I hope it continues!!

Soldier Boy

SO... today I had to take the older boys to an orchestra competion, so Damma and Auntie Mel and Uncle Duffy came over to look after the 3 little ones.  Uncle Duffy and Aydan went to Cabellas--and came home with camo everything--or as Aydan says--my new soldier clothes!! 



He told me as a soldier he is the protector--LOL

 So all Damma and Auntie had to do was watch the two little princesses sleep--I think they enjoyed that!!!

Back to the Grind....

So dad went back to work today.....this is bittersweet for me, he was driving me insane while he was here, but helped so much--like with my afternoon naps, or going to bed at 6 so I can be up at 9, 1, and whatever else time she wants to eat and taking the other two out to play so I can be a good vending machine--lol
So now it is me and 5 kids on our own at night--here we go--lol

Anywho baby Kyndal is doing great...she is sleeping 4 hours in between feedings at night (which I am ok with), very alert when she is awake..Brooklyn has to hold her lots, so I let her so she doesn't try it herself--lol

Out of the mouth of a 2 yr old

So I was sitting on the couch and Brooklyn brings me her baby and goes "Mom feed my baby",Me-"you feed your baby", B-(she lifts up her shirt and goes)" Me no boobs, you feed my baby"
I am still laughing my butt off!!!

What is that thing???

Out of the mouth of Aydan (of course)  As I was pumping, he is staring at me and this "thing" for like 2 minutes and goes "what is that thing doing", "It's milking me, kinda like a cow" he stares at me some more and goes on his way!!! He is still not sure how milk got in my boobs, B still thinks she needs her milk cup--LOL

Happy 1 week

It is amazing how time really flies by, but this week we have been reminded that....
-it is ok to stare at your baby for hours on end, the house cleaning can wait.
-funny how you forget all the little tiny noices babies make
-how fast your boobs go from normal to HUGE
-how life still has to go on even though your life has dramaticly changed with a new person in the house
-a 2 yr old princess has to be in the middle of everything!!!
-4 yr olds question everything
-13 yr old wonder why you cant cover your boob up when his friends just pop by
-friends and family who have made up meals are AWESOME!!! (especially when you have so many mouths to feed)
-even though this is #5, mama still needs SLEEP!!!!

Shooting and Show n Tell

On Sunday all the boys went with dad and grandpa to go out shooting!! They had a blast and I got a nap!!

Mondays are Aydan's show and tell days at school, he was supposed to bring something with the letter "R" but he had something better!!

Daddy's Hands

I do have to admit that Ian is the greatest daddy ever. I am truley blessed because I watch alot of people who's husbands have little or nothing to do with their kids, which is very sad I think.

Holy BOOBS, Batman

Ok I am sure this is TMI for most of you....But the milk has come in and OMG I seriously dont think my boobs have ever been this big before.....and they HURT--LOL
I was gonna post a pic but decided I better not--hahah But i might take one incase i ever get a boob job, it is a nice size--hahahahah  Now time to go feed the baby and release some of the presssure (they feel like they might explode--ha)

On a side note, nursing is going good, she is latching good and so on...the one challenge-the two year old who has to sit right there when i do it--LOL

She is ssoo tute!!

B looks at me this morning (she is very very helpful) and goes "mom is she ssssooo tute" why yes she is!!!

She is sleeping thru the loudness of the house....and it is loud all the time!!!  The kids are loving her, but all she does is sleep and eat (which i love this stage)...I have some amazing friends and family who are helping out lots!!!

She's here!!

Kyndal Naomi finally made her entrance on 2-8-11 at 4:24 pm....weighing in at 7lbs 15.6 oz and 19 in long!! (small than I expected!!)

She is doing fabulous!! She was a little po'd about leaving her warm spot and did not want to transition but is doing great now.  Labor was labor--hurt like hell at the end--thank goodness for epidurals!! even though it didnt work at the end, but only 20 minutes of pushing, she is finally here!!  Funny how a 9lb baby labor was easier--goes without saying every labor and kid is different!!!

No Internet :(

Ugh I might go crazy for a few more weeks of no computer--But here is how this week has been!!  We are all moved in to our new house!! I hate hate moving, thank goodness for family and good friends to help us get it done--cause I was helpless and could not do much at all!!!

37 Weeks
ugh another week, dr says looks good-see you next week--ugh
I am huge, nothing fits, my feet, hands and face are swollen, everything hurts!!! 
Brooklynism:  as we were leaving Ian had a coffee cup, B grabs it and come screaming down the Dr office hall going "dad I gots your beer!!!" (at 9 am--hahahahh)
