More snow

Last Wednesday we got caught in the middle of a crazy blizzard!! 25 inches later!!

We seem to be passing crap around (well mainly Kyndal) I have avoided it for over a month so I guess it's my time....bbboooooo 

This cough is horrible and I have known many people in the past week get influenza a.....

Snow day

Look at all this white stuff!!! 11-14 inches!!! It's not stick able snow, so no snowman

The Drs kinda laugh at me when we go in and I go " it's croup" then the look at every year we come in for croup haha

Seriously I can pick that cough out of a crowd!!! 

She's on the mend now though! 

Basketball we love it

Aydan had so much fun this season and is bummed it's over!

He got the best coachable award!!!

A day at the zoo

Today was perfect weather for zoo, 62 degrees!!! And the animals were all out and active, more than I'd ever seen!!!

The polar bears played in the water, the little seals were playing tag ( my favorite), mr elephant was spraying himself with water and went for a swim!!! And at the end we got to see the baby lion cubs!!!

Things heard at the zoo with my crew:

Kai: (with the map) we go this way

Melissa: yep he's a boy

Aydan: how do you know

Me: his nuts

Aydan: what??? (Pause) OH

Me: that tiger looks dead (I thought I was quiet enough)

Melissa: Kai look at the tiger

Kai: (very matter of factly) mom it's dead

2 monkeys were trying to do the dirty

Aydan: awe look at them........ Um oh 

A new year, new races

Last year I did 18 races...a couple color runs with the kids, warrior dash, bolder Boulder, a many more 5ks in between!!! 

And I'm starting off this year again!!! 

1 mile today !!!!
