Busy Body

Don't let her cuteness fool you--she is becoming very very busy!!
We had to gate both stairs cause she loves to go up now, then runs and hides from me.
Everytime I sit down she dashes for the kitchen to pull whatever she can reach off the counter and then open the bread and take it all out and eat one slice (in a matter of seconds)
If the back door is open she now darts out the back door when I get out of sight in the Living room.

Strong willed--that might be an understatement!! She likes to turn off the xbox while we are watching a show--yesterday I smacked her hand when she did it--then she did it again, another smack, then she did it again--this went on for 5 minutes or so--she seriously wouldnt stop, I finally smacked her little bottom adn moved her to time out, where she screamed dramaticly--10 minutes later she went back and did it again--UGH (Q was this way)

So yeah I think I need to get more wine!!! LOL

Time to hang up the baseball cleats

Baseball is over for this season, we actually did have lots of fun, even though I ran and ran and ran him all over--now on to football!!!

They got to all go to a GJ Rockies game tonight!!

Water World

We went to Water World yesterday adn had sssooo much fun!! These kids are FISH adn LOVE the water!! It was so hot but perfect for staying in the water all day!! We even lasted the whole 8 hours and no one got burned (I was applying sunscreen every hour!!!) The bad part was finding shade and having to haul my stuff around everywhere we went--I think next time it would be worth spending the extra money and reserving a personal cabana!!!

So all of grandpa's stepping stones have gotten broke in his moves--so what does he get for fathers day--new handprint stepping stones!! The kids had fun making these and add the rocks in!!
It is amazing to see the difference in size of prints of the kids--lol

Too smart!!!

So little miss thing kept handing me this and go-eh eh eh (this is how she communicates) and I am like "WHAT do you want"--well she wanted ice cream--like the ice cream cone in the block--seriously too smart for her own good!!!

Toothless

Aydan lost his first tooth yesterday--well Domma pulled it for him!!  He was so excited this morning--the tooth fairy left him $3--now he is dying to spend it!!!

Are we missing something???

So always at the end of Ian's being gone for 2 weeks, I seem to become an emotional pile of goo.  This song came on the radio and I started bawling--Made me realize how much he misses (baseball, concerts, football, soccer, dance awards and so on)-BUT what can ya do?? HIm being gone SO much is the only way we can survive, I am truley thankful he does work so hard so I can be here and not miss anything but...
...ugh few more days and he will be home!!!!

Lets Bowl

The kids get to bowl for free all summer, So we went to go try it out. They had so much fun adn were so good!!!

lets go on a walk

Ok so I have been "trying" to go on a walk after dinner every night (well this is night 2) because around 7:00 kids get crazy--and here is how it goes! (M-me, Q-Quintin, A-Aydan, B-Brooklyn)

M-hurry up and eat so we can go on a walk
A-I am riding Quintin's scooter
Q-No I am
A-humph
B-I wanna ride Aydan's scooter
A-No you can't cause I am
B-Mom can I ride my bike
M-which bike?? Quintin get it down for her
Q-Brooklyn the training wheels are broken on this one, ride this one
B-ok

Meanwhile Kyndal is in the wagon but keeps standing up because the dog had chewed the seat belts.....
SO we start walking, and Quintin goes back and forth across the street with Aydan following him
M-Quintin (in my mom voice) you CAN NOT do that with him following you

B-mom wait for me
M-hurry up
B-but this one is slow
M-you have to peddal faster
B-hmph I don't wanna ride this (we are barely to the next house and she pulls this)
B-MOM waits for me (as she is sitting in the middle of the street)
M-no I am going on a walk, not a wait on Brooklyn to peddal
Quintin goes back and she gets off and runs to me with her high heel princess shoes (oh yes)
M-ok now get in the wagon, Kyndal sit down

we finally make it to the end of the block and turn the corner
A-mom look at these water bugs (in the open canal)
M-cool, lets keep walking
B-I wanna see, I can walk now (sure you can)

B-but mom these shoes are slick I can't walk
M-then get up here into the wagon!!!
Q-how far are we gonna go
M-seriously around the block, cause you guys make me nuts
Now Quintin and Aydan are ahead of us

So now we round the corner (finally) and come back home, I am sure the neighbors love watching me go out of the house with all of them!!

M-Ok everyone insde (they all cry now) jammies NOW
 Kids are now in their jammies and watching a movie for 30 minutes then off to bed. I think I will be having a bottle of wine (ok ok maybe 2 glasses)

weekly update

Not many pictures this week (I know I hate posting without pictures!!)
Zach was at Camp Christian all week and came home and wants to go "mentor" and work up at the camp for the next batch of kids--so he is leaving again today--It is awesome to watch your child have such a huge faith and love for GOD!!!!
Q still playing baseball but it is almost over (thank goodness!!!)
A & B went to VBS last week, and had so much fun--I am gonna try to get them in this week at another church--LOL
K has NOT been sleeping well and very very fussy--ugh come on teeth come in already!

So Aydan started going under water with his "goggles" (I was actually shocked he did it!!) He even gave me an underwater High 5--very exciting!!
 Brooklyn also went "under" water with her "goggles" on (mainly just dipped her eyes in)
