Christmas concert

This was the Boys' concert last week--band, orchestra and choir--it was long but very good
(don't mind the bad video taking--hard to do that with a 2 yr old climbing on you)

yes yes I am a jealous person

ugh sad to say I am a very jealous person! For many many months now my main struggle is money--always money! And I am jealous of those who have it, those who go on vacations with their kids every few months, those who do not struggle putting groceries ine  the fridge, those with new houses and cars, those who put their kid in every sport and they have the best gear.
Now I know I am not supposed to be jealous but I am just the same!! I want to give to those who need help, I want my kids to have everything they need and want, I never want to tell them--No you cant participate because we have no money--that breaks my heart :(
I want to make vacation memories with them--but we can't so I watch all those who do and get more jealous!!
I am jealous of those who have husbands who have 9-5 jobs and have them home every weekend and they don't struggle....Mine works 100 hrs a week and we cant rub 2 pennies together.
I pray and pray for financial stability but sometimes I think God ignores me--WHY?? What is my lesson here?? I am thankful we can pay the rent and some bills and have some food--but it is never quit enough--is it supposed to be that way???

Nasty Yeast

Normally I like yeast--you know to bake bread

...not when it is infection form on my 5 yr old :(
Poor girl has been on the couch naked for 2 days now (airing out) as I try to remedy this nasty thing--I tried oils at first and the lavender did good the first time--then everything I used burned to her and she screamed :( (heartbreaking I know) I bribed her with ice cream to take ibuprophen...finally I went and got some anti fungal cream--it is looking better and better --thank goodness and she can hopefully go to school tomorrow!!
I have never experienced this fungus before so I was kinda at a loss on what to do for her--thank goodness for friends on fb (I know 5 kids I should know everything right hahah--there are a few things I don't haha)!!!

300 degrees hot...we made cherry, peppermint and cinnimon!!!

Remember the "baking with spit" post--yeah this goes along with that!!! SO she has her own cookies!!

Our favorite time of the year

includes cookie decorating!!! Now I got the frosting right but had very little choices of sprinkles (thats why we ususally do these at Auntie Melindas--sprinkle queen!!!) The kids LOVE decorating!!!

Just a little warning for those of you who are lucky enough to receive some of our bake goodies--there is spit, double dipping and little hands that are in every thing we bake!!
Kyndal is famous for licking the spoon and putting it back in--But it is so fun to bake with them--they love it!!
So you could say we bake with EXTRA love!!!

Trixie is back

The kids are extatic that Trixie is back!!!!
Every morning all I hear is " did you find her yet" I love their excitement!!!

Happy Anniversary to us (a day late)

It has been 8 years---8 WHOLE YEARS--who'd a thunk it hahahah
We did a whole lotta nothing yesterday to celebrate (big partiers that we are--and we be poor!)
BUT I really really wanna plan a 10 yr trip back to Cabo--and I want people to come with us--so let us know if you might wanna go and save your pennies!!!! (Gma, Gpa, Auntie Quinnie and Auntie Melinda--your going you have no choice!!!!! just so ya know hahah)

Fevers suck

Poor thing woke up screaming last night (night mare is my guess) but she was burning up (101) so she got to sit up with daddy late and have ice cream (yes at 1 am)
She refuses to take meds--if we have to we have to hold her down and squirt it into the back of her throat and close her mouth--fun fun let me tell you--so we started the peppermint oil every 30 minutes on her feet to help out--she also hates the smell of this (I love it) but she only has the 2 options--meds or oil!!! Her fever is low enough not to freak out and give her meds yet and no other symptom (come on peppermint do you thing!)--she woke up this morning still hot--so movie cuddle day with Brooklyn :(
At least there is no puking--right?!?!? (knocking on wood)

Orchestra

Notice they can't take a serious photo--LOL The boys had a concert tonight with the middle school--ugh listening to 6th & 7th graders play again--gave me a headache--seriously!!! Both boys have played since 6th grade and have come oh so far!! the High School kids were really good--but I so hope not to sit thru a middle school concert for OH like 4 more years--LOL

What do you wear???

when it is a do nothing kinda day--I prefer my yoga pants and tshirt (no bra) BUT these two prefer their new Christmas dresses--at least they wear them more than once Right?!?!?
