Aydanism 1-25-11
While sitting waiting to get boys' haircut, Aydan was talking about his "experience"
A-mom that antI freeze was yucky, we need to get rid of it
M-Oh yes we do, and never drink it again
A-yeah it was yucky
he pauses for a few and looks at Zach (who wont associate with us in public) adn goes
A-Mom how bout we give Zach some when he has an attitude
M-(laughing so hard on the inside--cause that might not be a bad idea) hahahahah
DISCLAIMER * I would not giv emy kids anitfreeze on purpose so calm down (it is a hillarious thought though)!!!!!

Lessons Learned!!
So Ian had some antifreeze in the back of his truck in a milk jug (it was red mixed with water)....And he always lets Aydan play back there...Well Q starts yelling from outside and I hear a kid crying (he had that panic emergency yell--you know the one) So we run out, Aydan told Q he drank what was in the jug..ugh
So a 911 call, ambulance ride, ER for a few hours and 48 hours in the hospital, we learn how serious it is to putthat stuff away (or I did, Ian better have--LOL)
Aydan is fine, he had a horrid tummy ache, they gave him an antidote (every 12 hrs for 48 hrs) just to be on the safe side, since no one know how much he ingested!!
By the time he got to his room last night he was back to his smartbutt self (talking about poop and farts--lol BOYS)
Thanks for everyones help and prayers!!! I wanted to go to the hospital but not that way--LOL

I made chili for dinner with a little spice but not too much the kids wont eat it......
A-mom if you tongue is on fire just drink water
M-Oh ok
A-yes the water will put the fire out on your tongue--OK

Aydan's Prayers
SO We pray every night before dinner, And Aydan never wants to be the one to do the praying (even though he does at school) But this is how it usually goes
A-dad you pray tonight
D-ok, thank you Jesus for this food,
A-and my mom
D-and your mom, and your family
A-and my school
D-yes and your school
A-and maggie
D-and maggie, and for us all having a good day amen (he has to go fast or we go on and on and on)
So even though he never wants to pray--he more or less says the prayer for everything--TOO CUTE!!!
Oh and Brooklyn is starting to "get it" when we do it, she closes her eyes tight and fold her hands and yells AMEN--she watches me and the camera so I haven't got a good pic of it yet--but i will!!!!

oh procrastination
SO I just now ordered the baby's car seat--LOL Well I actually I went all over town to look for one-second hand stores, walmart, kmart, target--nothing that didnt look cheap or had bad color or that had to be bought with the stroller--ugh So i found hte one I wanted in the color I like online--now I just hope it gets here before she does--hahah
But the funny thing is that with your first or even second child all this stuff is bought and done before you are ever 6 months preggo....but by the 4th and 5th you wait till the last minute (like 36 weeks--hahaha) and you learn what is just a waste of money, or junk--lol so the necessities is all we need!!! I think we are almost ready for her!!!! Now to wait--LOL

What a SHITASTIC day
It started out ok, but the poor life of a 13 yr old...is seriously making me nuts!!
So I get a call from the counslor (again) "there are some students concered about Zach again" Ok I will ask him--He denys anything, but goes into how horrible is home life is--the poor kid has chores to do, gets yelled at, and cant do anything--blah blah blah
I seriously had a fricken breakdown because he has no clue what a bad life is. He was disrespectful and unsympathtic for anything (which really makes me nuts) So the madder I got, the more smug he got--I had to leave the house before I punched him--which is actually what he needs to be knocked on his ass!!! He needs to go live in a homeless shelter for a night and think about how bad his poor pathetic life is!! I seriously do not know how much more i can take---counseling--SURE IF I had the money to do so--even though the school counslers KNOW he is high risk--even a copay is too much for us right now!! So yeah I am at my witts end for sure--Now Zach is all happy when he gets his way and everything he wants---sorry kid life isnt that easy!!
Most of his friends are only kids or the last kid--so they can do whatever they want--be on the computer all day, play games all day, no chores, no younger siblings adn so on!! Well not in this house---gggrrrrr
Ugh how much more of this can I take---then Ian gets all pissey cause I make him come home and help me deal with it, because seriously lets stress mom to her max and have a baby NOW.....So he was all pissy but you know what--get over it, cause I am not doing it all by myself!!

So we went to a birthday party for Ava at the Build a bear place in the mall--it is now closing!! Aydan made a Frog and B made a piggy!! Everyone had so much fun!!!

Adult Truths
A friend of mine posted this on FB and it made me laugh so I had to share!!

1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.
2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.
4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.
5. How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
6. Was learning cursive really necessary?
7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.
9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.
10. Bad decisions make good stories.
11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.
12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blu Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.
13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to.
14. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.
15. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.
16. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than Kay.
17. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.
18. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.
19. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?
20. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!
21. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.
22. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.
23. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time
24. The first testicular guard, the "Cup," was used in Hockey in 1874 and the first helmet was used in 1974. That means it only took 100 years for men to realize that their brain is also important.

when I am sick or not feeling good. So Ian comes home early from work cause he isn't feeling well (this is at 4pm) and goes straight to bed and wakes up at 8 to get a bite to eat and back to bed. WOW that must be so nice, as a mom I don't think I have ever experienced that---ggggrrrr Now don't get me wrong, I am sorry he isn't feeling well but why is it when I need to lay down for some sleep--NOPE I still have 2 kids climbing on my in bed, who want a snack or a 2yr old who will only go to the potty with me---gggrrrrr Even though sometimes when I am so tired he "tries" to let me sleep, it just never works!!!
Or those days when I am not feeling well but there is still dinner to cook, clothes to fold, kids to entertain, and so on.....a moms job is never done!!!

Thank God for WIC
WIC-Women Infant and Children.....I am so thankful we actually qualify for this program, it truly saves us!! Today I got-6 1/2 gallons of milk, 2 loaves of bread, 6 boxes of cereal, PB, 4 cans of beans, 4 containers of apple juice, 2 blocks of cheese, 2 dozen eggs, and $12 worth of fruit and veggies--now this will last us a few days!! We have been living on cereal the past few days--it's ok the kids love it--LOL We go thru like 20 gallons of milk a month and wic gives us 15 so OMG it saves us so much and with no $$ for groceries right now--at least we have some basics so we dont starve--hahah (now to ration it so the kids dont eat it all in one day--hahahah)
I knew the next few months were gonna be tight, but didnt think it would be this tight....But I am trying to look at the positive--we are getting into a new house that we all fit in!!!
So I am trying to get creative with the groceries we have remaining--ugh somedays it is hard cause I am missing that 1 ingredient--LOL
And I just LOVE how everything runs out at the same time (tp, paper towels, paper plates, laundry soap, dishsoap, and so on)...so today I did splurge and spent $3 on TP (it is a necessity for me anyways--hahah)
I have actually tried to get FS to get us thru this, cause are biggest bill is groceries but of course Ian makes just a little too much--ugh, maybe after baby is here we might qualify just to get us thru the hard times!!!
Now for me to just keep saying "it will get better, it will get better!!" have to keep reminding myself of that like every minute of every day!!!
I knew the next few months were gonna be tight, but didnt think it would be this tight....But I am trying to look at the positive--we are getting into a new house that we all fit in!!!
