Moon Farm

Today we took a trip out to Fruita to moon farm...I don't know why we have not been there before...If was very neat...run down but so cool to see all the different little houses, lots of toys for the kiddos to play on..and i think the best part is that no one else but us and Deana were out there!!

4 months

I can not believe little Luv Bug is 4 months old....this is really going fast!! I am gonna try to get some good pictures this weekend of all the kids..photo shoot at Dommas!!! (hhhmmmm Savannah should come over for that *hinthint)

I think this machine is gonna cause me too much stress, mainly because of all the idiots on the road..ugh and don't even get me started on where he got the $$ to pay for it....oh well I  have learned to choose my battles with him also--hahah

Fruita opened up a Rec center and I must say I love the pool!! It is indoors, has an area for little kids to swim, big kids to swim and an outdoor pool!! We had a blast today!!!

Choose your battles

Ugh my venting post...So I learn something everyday as a parent and by no means am I the best, But if 1 thing I have learned since Brooklyn--is to choose my battles!!!  I was that person who was like "I cant believe they let their kid leave the house dressed like that" or "why is that kid not matching" and so on...we B has taught me why--Why fight the battle!!! I have also learned that with all the kids in the past few years--Don't sweat the little stuff, save the fight for things that are worth the fight!!!
BUT Ian has NOT learned this yet, and trying to teach him is like potty training a toddler who isn't ready--IMPOSSIBLE!! (Now dont get me wrong he is a great dad!!) So on his weekends off he is on the kids over everything and doesn't stop--ugh drives me nuts!! It is summer vacation--if we want to stay up till 11 and sleep till 10 WE WILL!! So he works nights and sleeps in late on his work days...So I have had a routine with all the kids for over 2 years now--and he ALWAYS comes in a freaks out and messes it up.  I don't think the kids HAVE to do chores ALL DAY LONG--we do them in the morning and then we relax inside if it is hot, swim, play and so on...BUT no when dad is home he is up their butts all day with chores and so on....this all coming from the "man" who doesn't get anything done for me unless I freak out on him or start it myself.....
UGH so yes this was his weekend off and by the end of the weekend all the kids hate him (not really figure of speech) So he is back to work tomorrow and the kids and I  can go back to our " normal" routine! Then when you throw Q into the equation who is tired (who HAS to have 10-12 hr of sleep) it gets ugly cause Q gets poopy then dad gets mad and more poopy so then MOM has to yell at both of them--(my work is never done--hahah)
Parenting is hard, a whole trial and error thing, so I try to teach him--Is it worth the fight or is it just a small issue.......but he doesnt get it yet..someday!!!
But really what we all need to learn is to be thankful we had another day to argue, fight, laugh, ccry and laugh some more with all of these kids we have!!!

So B LOVES shoes (yes I know all my fault!!) So I found some shoes for $4 online but they didn't have her size so I got a size 10 for this fall/winter....but she thinks she has to wear them now...lol

Because all I hear is mom, mom, mom, mama, mama, MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM--this is from Aydan ALL day long and he doesnt stop till I answer him, NOW Brooklyn is catching on to it..ugh

After he gets my attention it goes something like this..."so last weekend when I was 2" M-you were not 2 last weekend, A-Yes mom the other day when I was 3.....Gonna have to work on how time works with this child.  And his stories OUT OF THIS WORLD literally--Mom last weekend when I was 2, I got ate by a shark and so on....

HAHAH this is hillarious--So my littlest sister is preggers, well she has a friend who "followed" all the new rules when she was preggers (which we never had when I had my first 3-so I think they are hogwash!!) So she calls me everytime this friends tells her one of these rules--like eating hotdogs, lunchmeat, she even told her she couldnt go to any bondfires (seriously) and so on.... So tonight she text me and goes if I wear a mask and have a fan can I paint the babies room??  I text back "yes"..then I go "be sure to wrap your tummy in saran wrap so she can't breathe the fumes" (as I am Laughing my butt off) So she text back "really OK"...now I thought ok maybe I should let her do it and have her send me a pic, but I didnt I told her I was kidding--as she was on her way to do it--oh boy that was hillarious!! Love that girl!!!

How does she know...

So the past couple days Miss K has been having screaming fits..ugh AND the only way to calm her is to stand and rock--fast and hard (to the point if a passerbyer walked by they would think you are shaking the baby) Then as she calms and closes her eyes I sit (still rocking) and BAM her eyes open and it starts all over again...aaaggghhhh
Seriously how does she know I sit, she is for sure a motion baby!!

When mamas sick.....

....no one cares and the world goes on!! So I woke up with a possible ear infection...it feels better so I didnt goto the dr, which I am hoping I dont regret it later if it gets worse. Now to try to sleep off a headache...ugh
