Aydan's Program

I love watching little 3 and 4 yr olds do programs, cause you never know what will happen!!!
There was a little boy who was rolling all around on the front row, laying down, not a care in the world, then a little girl who kept pulling her dress over her head. There were some loud singers and Aydan who didnt sing at all but did all the motions--LOL Good times

Save me some $$$

So I am on a new adventure to save some money==couponing!!! I have a friend from HS on FB who totally rocks this.....and my good friend Deana took me to a class last night!! I am so ready to try this and get it started!! Wish me luck on saving tons of money!!! Oh and PS if you get the Sunday paper and do not use the coupons PLEASE PLEASE save them for me :)

The boys had their orchestra concert last night!! They did very good, and it is so neat to hear how far they have come!!!

Goodies for today

So I felt blah today so I made the kids some fast and easy goodies!!

Fruity Pebbles Marshmallow Treats!!

White Trash Mix=3 cups Rice chex, 3 cups corn chex, 3 cups cherrios, 2 cups pretzels, 2 cups peanuts and 2 cups m&ms--melt white almond bark-mix all together and let dry

Dad has beer!!

So I just love listening to Brooklyn talk, she has this high pitch voice.....So last night I was in bed and she wouldn't go to sleep. I heard Ian pulls in about 10:30 and told her "dad is home" So she slides of the bed and heads for the door, then goes "dad me open it" and opens the front door (at this point I am really hoping it is him and not some serial killer--LOL)
So it was him and she starts jabbering then yells to me
B-"mom, dad has beer"
M-eeew beer is yucky
B-dad beer yucky---At this point I am laughing because she so just told on him and she keeps jabbering to him and you have to pretendyou know what she is saying or she gets mad.
Then she yells
B-dad me go poop--so they run to the bathroom
D-did you get into the makeup brooklyn? (she had it all over her face)
B-yes, right there is the make up, you like make up dad?
D-no I dont like make up
B-well mom does
D-why arent you in bed?
B-cause me go poop (in her duh, tone)

They go one for quite awhile, it cracks me up the conversations she has!!!

So she is fully potty trained but can't go into the bathroom by herself....gggrrr to this Ian replies "she is a female you all can't go alone remember" (ok I had to laugh!!)

Open my eyes

So I have been volunteering at the Salvation Army, and I never knew how much they do.  It has truly opened my eyes, and I have realized that I do complain alot BUT others have it way way worse than me.  I work with a 23 yr old girl, who I got to talking too.  She told me she works there cause she is in the "Program", because she has 3 drug felonies and was having a terrible time kicking hte habit, I was like what program?? Well the SA has a rehab program, they take these people (whom others have given up on) they put them in housing, give them work at the SA, have counseling, feed them and the whole nine yards....they have a strict program each person has to go thru and so on.  After hearing all this, learning that 95% of the workers there are in this program and they are all very nice people.  So it has had me thinking for weeks, and my heart just grows knowing I get to be around these people!!!  And makes me realize that yes we have HUGE financial troubles but there are kids and people out there who have it so much worse, and these people come in every day happy to get another chance. 
The SA has also stepped up to get the Toy Run going for kids in need because Toys for Tots didn't this year...This is an another program that is close to my heart...Many years ago when the boys were small the only way they got a christmas was because of a program like this...Since then I take the kids out to pick out toys for kids in need because I want to teach them that Christmas isn't just about you, there are kids who get nothing and i want them to learn to care enough to give, I do not want to raise selfish kids!!!  Two years ago a very good friend saw us struggling very much and her family adopted us for christmas and we can home Christmas eve to a room full of presents!! And I will forever be eternally grateful for all of them!! It is people like this who know that you are too stubborn to ask for help and help you anyways!!
At Thanksgiving they took meals to families who couldn't afford one...while I was working there we collected 1000 turkeys--AWESOME!!!!
There are so many programs that go on in town that us everyday ordinary people have no idea that goes on.  I am so glad I have had the opportunity to see from the inside that there are very caring and giving people and programs out there!!! 
So I guess I a rambling in this post but this season I have seen it all from a different point of view, more like the behind the scenes and I want to do so much more.  If I have more $$ I would be out there helping any way I could, but I don't so I am doing what I can do to help-volunteering, we did get toys for the toy run--becuase every little bit helps!!
So how has this all really changed me?? It is helping me keep my faith alot more and easier (since the past few months I have lost it), I have been reading my bible every day and praying like crazy-not only for me but for everyone in my life!!!
I hope as you read this you too realize that we are truly blessed, and if those who are in worse situations can get thru it so can we!!!

It's an Honor

So this year in middle school the orchestra students got to try out for Honors Orchestra and Zach made it!!!! Only 12 students from Bookcliff, and 6 violas!!
They had their concert tonight....it was awesome, they practiced hard and sounded great!! (they have come along way from the very first 6th grade concert--lol)

So Ian came home with gifts tonight and I was trying to get what it was out of the kids--lol Then they all come upstairs and let me open it........

My Morning With Brooklyn

I believe God is up there laughing going "you wanted a girl so bad--well here she is!!" I am not laughing now am I ---LOL But I love her jsut the same!!
Here is my morning with her---she refuses to wear pants, and not 1 skirt but 2, and of course her princess shoes--but only 1 the other one must not match.....off to the store we go--Lets add some hidious shades to the picture (that she wears thru the whole store, until she forgets about them and i toss them)...Then we get home--I come downstairs for 5 minutes and she opens every single present under the tree--Thank goodness none of the other kids were home or we would be in deep trouble.  I am gonna go take a nap now--she makes me tired!!!

28 weeks

AND counting down 12 weeks to go (or less)
So already I am getting those looks from people when they ask when I am due--Febuary 21st--adn they are like OH! yes because I already look over 8 months preggo--and that might be because i am measuring 2 weeks ahead--go figure!! So I am sure she will be another BIG baby, but I am hoping for under 9lbs--lol

I Love Shopping!!

And I love Black Friday!! So Zach and I got up at 4 and hit the stores!! No big must have purchases, but got alot of the little stuff!! And we were home by 8 am!! BUT no I am in trouble for spending TOO much money so the next two weeks are gonna be slim pickens for sure--oh well that is how it goes RIGHT?!?!
Hope everyone else survived the big shopping day......Now I am off to bed!!!!

I am Thankful!!

Well it seems that we only talk about what we are Thankful for around Thanksgiving...This year I am gonna try to remember to do it more!!
But anywho..I am a very blessed women, I know I complain about everything but the truth of the matter is...I am blessed in more ways than you can imagine!!
My husband--who does drive me crazy at times, I do love him dearly...He came into our lives and has made it so much better. He works crazy stupid hours so that I can stay home with the kids, and he provides so much for us!! He is the greatest dad I have ever seem!!!
My kids-who ALSO drive me nuts, but they are a great group of kids!! All with different personalities that make me laugh each and every day.  My goal is to raise them to have respect for others, be a caring person, and to be able to make it in the real world.. Now they may hate me sometimes but that just means I am on the right path! 
I am thankful we are all healthy and hope we continue to be so!!
My baby--although she has no definite name yet, I am thankful for #5...she was a surprise that took me awhile to get used too but I think we will be ok!! She is growing and kickin away..I hope the rest of this pregnancy is uneventful!!!
My family-although they are far away during these holidays, I am glad they are there!! We had a wonderful wedding this year for Lierin and Matt, and Miss Alyssa came to us in January!!  I wish them all the best thru these holiday seasons, and cant wait to see what nexzt year brings!!
My friends-maybe the most important because the keep me sane!! I have some wonderful friends, you know the kind that no matter how much my mouth runs they are still there for me--LOL (it does that alot) I have also lost a few friends this year and that is ok too because with this I grow and learn!! And it makes me appreciate the ones who stand by me no matter what more of a blessing to me (you know who you are!!)

Now thru these holidays we are gonna face a huge financial issue but I know with everyone in my life we will get thru it, even when I get to thinking we will not, I have to remember I AM VERY BLESSED and should remember EVERYTHING I have to be Thankful for!!!

Now last but not least I am thankful for Holiday food!!!!! This is the first time in years that I can fully enjoy it all and seconds because I am not on any diet, not watching my weight!! WOOHOO!!! Here is to being pregnant during the holidays!!!
