His Heart is Huge!!

I got a call from the principle today...It seems a couple of Aydan's friends (who are girls) got pushed by another boy yesterday..Well this made Aydan upset, so today he went up to the boy and told him he was going to beat him up!
NOW I understand why the school who pull him in to talk to him, BUT on the other hand--Good for you son for sticking up for your friends (especially the girls)!!
I love his heart!!!

He's gonna be ok!!

As a parent you always wonder if your kid is going to be ok, as in do good and so on.  We really never know "what" path they will choose to take--good or bad.  We all hope our kids don't end up shooting up a school, killing someone, (I know totally extreme) or doing hard drugs, any drugs, dropping out of school-- but we really never know!!
I have always really really worried about my kiddos, especially Zach cause our first few years of life--sucked absolutely sucked, there is no other way to describe it.  So because of this as he grew I always wondered "what" path he would take.  Over the past 2 years, I think I can honestly say--he is on a Great path!! This kid has so much talent (previous blog of him singing) with singing, playing any instrument, and acting.  I really could not be prouder of him!!
If you ever have the chance to watch him preform I highly recommend it!!

Not only is he extremely talented and not afraid to show it.  He is also huge in his faith (probably more than me) He watched "God's not Dead" with me last week (great movie if you have not seen it--rent it!!) and I go that's the kid you need to be, and I can totally see him being that kid (if you have seen it you know what I am talking about)

So I am one proud mama, I kept him alive all these years and he didn't turn out so bad after all!!! I am so glad you are mine!!!

(now lets hope after I wrote all this he doesn't shoot up a convenience store hahah jkjk)

The Change

Ian came home today and goes "I think I am turning into by dad"
I began laughing because any of you that know Jim and Ian Hyrup--know they are so much alike--like EXACT!!!
Stephanie and I share and special "look" when either one of the start talking--cause we are more or less married to the same man
SO anyway I asked him "why" he thought that.....so today when he dropped the kids off at school--he started pulling weeds on the school grounds--good thing I wasn't there cause I would have rolled my eyes and said "hey Jim Hyrup come on" (i do that alot)  hahahah

Meet Pip

After a year without a kitty, I thought it was time for a new one--I forgot how funny they are!!
This is Pip, he and Kyndal are best of friends--they like to chase each other and he doesn't mind her smothering him.  He also likes to great Ian at 6:30 am in the morning and meow at the bathroom door till he lets him in--seriously haha

I absolutely love watching my kids in action!! Quintin is of course playing football--he is kickoff team and second string safety on EHS Varsity and first string safety and something else on JV
So this weekend we had our first Friday night game--it was awesome!! they WON 23-6, and today JV played but lost (we wont talk about that haha)

The varsity team was surprised with brand new uniforms!! Quintin is #30
