So on Sunday Zach informs he needs 60 or so cookies for Monday night because he has an orchestra awards adn the violas need to bring dessert (yeah thanks for the advance notice son) So Monday I get the cookies all done, and he comes home...

M: so is this like a pot luck thing and every instrament brings something differnt
Z: NO
M: what?
Z: we are not doing drugs mom
M: (after I quit laughing so hard) I explained to him "what" a pot luck was
Z: oh I thought it meant we all got together and smoked pot

So we adopted 2 new baby kittens, well Sunday I was explaining it all to Domma and Ian was sitting right there...later that night this is how the convo went:

I was changing the baby kittens towel and had them on the couch
I: those 2 don't look good, are they dead
M: NO
I: seriously something is wrong with them, the are smaller than the others
M: well they are barely 24 hours old, the others are 2 weeks old
I: WHAT? did she have 5 babies 2 weeks ago then poop out 2 more yesterday??
M: WHAT are you talking about
I: these babies what the heck is going on
M: we had to adopt them, there mom was bad...did you not hear the whole conversation I had with your mom about it??
I: well no, but that makes more sense now

No I did not marry him for his brain hahahhaha

Chinese kitty????

Last night while watching the baby kitties (we do that alot) Aydan goes "Mom we have a chinese cat--look at her slanty eyes" Seriously where does he get this stuff--her eyes are half open so I guess that makes her chinese-HAHA (note:he did not learn that from me)

It's an open adoption

SO a friend of mine called-a friend of hers had a cat that had babies yesterday morning and was eating them--they saved 2 but they needed a mama and milk--alrighty lets try to see if Pixel is ok with this....
I got home last night and she had been feeding and cleaning them as her own so I am thinking she is ok with it.  I woke up this morning and all kitties are good!!

So Zach does the dishes--that is his main everyday job!! But he is gone this weekend and I have to do them--ggeeezzz LOL (I think I may be spoiled that he does them--lol)

So Aydan informs me:
A: Mom you dont need to use your boobs to feed these baby kitties
M: Oh Good (as I spit my water out)
A: Yeah cause Pixel is doing it with her boobs
M: yeah
A: she has 5 boobs and you only have 2 boobs-and you only feed Kyndal not kitties

Oh this kid crackks me up!!

(which brings up some questions--do her "boobs" overfill adn hurt like ours?, what if they skip one and dont eat from it? do htey leak when they are overfull? how do those things work??)

He got his sleep over and is very excited about it!!

Communcating with the baby

Kyndal is jabbering so much...not with words but different tones with noises--lol And she gets mad when I don't know what she is saying and screams!!
I have got her to say up and down, she signs "all done" and "please" really well!!!!
She loves to look at the baby kitties, she gets so excited when she hears them and keeps saying "muw" I think that is meow-but who really knows but her.
Her little toothies have NOT broken thru yet--grrrr
She is walking EVERYWHERE and not much stops her and loves to be outside walking!!!
She is also recognizing her people around her--she gets excited when she sees them walk up, she also is getting familiar with other houses and knows when she is at Dommas or Auntie Ms house.

 So don't get me wrong I like to text--it is sometimes easier than making a call--especially since I am on the go so much!!
I try to think how our "teen" years would have been like if we had texting--how different would it have been!!
 I am still wondering how these kids get away with having phones in class but they do!! And what aren't these kids learning-to talk to people face to face, and to spell correctly (one of my pet peeves-the abbreviate everything because of texting-and they don't even do that correctly)
Now don't worry Zach did get a talking too about having over 15,000 texts (which I totally think is ridiculous!!!!)
But anywho Happy Texting!!!!

So I havent had the "motivation" to tackle B and K's room....it is the catch all room and it was just trashed (sorry no before pic) So I have been whining for weeks the I  "need" to just clean it-but have just been avoiding it! So today Domma came over so I ran  a few errands and came home to her cleaning it up--OK there is my motivation-so I helped her finish it up and WOW there is a floor!!!

One Week

The babies are a week old today. They have doubled in size and are fun to just sit and watch!!
