MOPS

I went to my first MOPS meeting today and it was great!!! I worked when the boys were little and had other playdates when Aydan was little, so I had never been before.  A friend of mine lives over in Commerce City area, so I joined her group--it is a little bit of a drive but so worth it!!  I met new moms and made new friends (which is really hard for me for some reason)
Can't wait for the next one!!

Oh the girls had so much fun too!!!

What a crazy week!! On Wednesday Grandma Stephanie decided to go out and have a heart attack--but thank you Lord she is ok!!! It was a scary few hours (especially being 4 hours away) but things are good now and she will be going home soon!!!

Seriously, I got the news from half asleep Ian-mom in hospital, heart attack--that was it.  Yeah I panicked a little, had the kids packed and was ready to go get all the kids from school (oh yeah I can move fast haha) but by the time Ian got up, she was out of surgery and already doing good, so we will go up in a couple weeks!!

When I vaguely told the kids about grandma got sick and was in the hospital but was ok,

B-well what happened to her

M-she has a little heart attack but she is good now

B-what is a heart attack??

A-well you know when they get those white things-rub them together and put them on your chest and go baboom (in animation)

B-OH i get it

M--laughing--yep thats about right

Brooklyn also told grandpa he better be taking care of Buttercup!!!

On the go--always--and I wonder why I am exhausted!! This week: soccer practice-Wedenesday, game-Saturday; Choir concert-Thursday; Football-Friday; MOPS-Friday morning-which I have to make a halloween dessert for the contest and create my secret sister gift; plus the back and forth for football pickup, theater practice drop off and pick up, school drop off, drop off and pick up Oh yeah I should make dinner too huh?!?!?!

Quintin goes to Homecoming

So anytime the kids do something crazy-Ian and I race to say "your kid".. So the other day Zach did something (I forgot what) and Ian goes "that one is yours" ha
So last night Quintin was telling us how he asked a girl to homecoming--he found 2 baseballs and wrote on it "I finally found the balls to ask you to homecoming" and put them in her locker!  I straight up looked at Ian and said "Oh that one is yours!!" (that kid!! never ever a dull moment!!) So off to the store we will go to get him all dressed up for his "date"!!! (pictures of that on Saturday!!!)

Field Trip

Wednesday we went with Brooklyn's class to Anderson Farms--we had so much fun!!

I have been warned

Both grandmas have commented that I am in trouble when she is a teen because she is so pretty, and since Ian and I were almost perfect children, I am thinking they know what they are talking about!!

So to prepare for her teen years-Dad will buy more guns and ammo--I will buy xanax and vodka in bulk and book my padded room in advance!!

Kyndal found Aydan's ds--and went thru the pictures, I could hear her upstairs going "oh gammas house" "mom gammas house"
She called me upstairs to "show" me, she turned it on and a pic of Ian came up--the picture was taken at gammas house--she yells "mom, gammas house, you take me to it" then jumps up and down clapping "I go to gammas house" (it was seriously so cute) then she runs down the stairs hollering at Brooklyn "Booby we go to gammas house, right now"
I had to break it to her, that we "can't" go "right" now and left it at that!!
Gamma-Kyndal misses you lots and lots!!!

He was ssssoooo excited!! He isn't much for being aggressive out there but he sure runs his heart out with a HUGE smile on his face!! He had so much fun!!! He is #5 and teams name is HyenaCobraAnnacondas--they are really the cobras but the coach let them pick a name hahahah
