Snow!!!

Maddie and Brooklyn were so excited to see the snow Saturday morning!! Then Gpa took them on a sled ride!!

Are there enough?? there always is!! yes I prepack them in snack bags (otherwise these kids eat everything at once) Each little has their own bag (so no fighting) wooo we are about ready!!!

Snow for breakfast

Kyndal was so excited to see snow this morning!! she got up when dad came home and said at least 100 times in 5 minutes--me go outside dad....so he took her outside--she was so excited I could hear her upstairs!!! To get her to come in (this is all at 7am this morning) he gave her a cup of snow to eat--she had about 3 cups full--then he added koolaid stuff--at least she is getting her water intake today!!!!

Dog person in the trees

Ok so I am not crazy, there is this person who walks his 15-20 dogs thru the field haha
I watched them today (cause I have nothing better to do right?!?) He went over the field--might have to do some more investigating haha (Quintin is pretty sure he is a dog trainer)

Someone say Turkey??

YUM!!! We had us some turkey dinner Saturday--I love when I get to make the whole meal--yeah it is a little stressful for a minute but oh so worth it!!! I only got a pic of the turkey and nothing else but it was very yummy!!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!

These girls...

Love each other so much!! So happy Maddie (and Auntie Quinnie and Gma and Gpa!!) got to spend the weekend with us!! We don't get to see her much and cherish our time together!!!

Busy busy I have made, cupcake coffee coozies (so cute), 4 toddler/infant hats, 2 sets of fingerless gloves for B & K, and new book cuffs--and lots more to get done!!!

We don't like seeds

I just grabbed these grapes with out reading the lable (bad habit of mine....Brooklyn informed me after she took them for snack to school, they had seeds and she did not like seeds!! So I had to cut them and pick the seeds out--NOTE to self---read the lables!!

Yuppyville news

I am conforming to Yuppyism hahah--got a jogging stroller to start walking/jogging (when it is not too cold--I am a wuss)

Ian says we live in yuppyvile and we do...all these green, granola tofu eating, crossover driving, exercising sahm, and they seem not to have $$$ issues (although I do not know that for sure)
SO yeah we kinda don't fit in you know Redneck meateaters with gas guzzling cars--hahah

I told Q to get the trash and put the pumpkins in...can we smash them?? Sure I told them-- they were so excited!!!

Day 3..I am thankful for....

our GOD....he forgave us for everything (I am not perfect at all) and for giving us the power to forgive others (no one is perfect) I have had many ups and downs with many people, but being able to forgive (and move on) is the greatest gift anyone can have!!!  Love you all!!!!

Day 2--I am thankful...

..For my kids!!! They are the reason I wake up every morning (they force me) and the reason I fall into bed exhausted every night....and I wouldn't change it for the world!!!
Each on of them is their own person, but they are all very caring and have huge hearts!!

Zach--this kid does and will continue to make a difference!! He is one of the only teenagers I have ever known to have an honest true relationship with GOD.  We have had huge ups and downs with him but he grows more every day!! He just joined a group at HS called Rachels Challange and they are a group who wants to make a difference every day--it is amazing and I am a proud mama that he wants to be a part of this!!! He has an awesome sense of humor that makes me stop in my tracks and laugh!!! This kid has a huge purpose!!!





Quintin-oh Q...this child, he is getting better as he gets older, he doesn't listen well--maybe it's his hearing  (haha) But he has the biggest heart and always helps those in need!! He is a great athlete and not a poor sport (thank goodness!!!) He is all about playing playing playing--he is outside till dark and gone first thing in the morning.  He is a very social being and makes friends easily!! I also love his sense of humor--kid cracks me up!!!






Aydan--Ian's minime.  He is hilarious and I don't think he means to be all the time--but the things that come out of his mouth make me spit my drink out all the time!!! He is very stubborn when it comes to new things--it must be his idea to try it or it is NOT happening!!! He is also so sensitive and cares about everyone around him!! We tried soccer this year--yeah that probably wont be a life long sport for him hahah BUT he does run fast!!!

Brooklyn-my first little girl--wooo Talk about strong willed and getting worse as she gets older!! She is a mother hen--she makes sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to and that they are taken care of!!! She is a girly girl but loves to play outside, run around and get dirty!!  It seems 5 comes with a fun new little attitude!!





Kyndal--oh boy this tornado of fun!! She rarely leaves my side (ever) but loves to play with the big kids and she doesn't miss anything!! When she is being bad she looks and me and in her little tiny voice goes "I luv you so much mom" dang kid is too cute for words!!! She is a very fast learner and very independent (except when she can't go to the bathroom with out me--seriously)

These kids are amazing all in their own way! I am supper Blessed to be their mom!!! I am sure we will have many many more trials as we venture on in life but I am ok with that!!! I can not imagine life without these 5 creatures keeping me busy busy busy (and broke haha)

Grandmas touch

Aydan has a loose tooth, he sat on the couch for an hour wiggling it.  Usually we have to call grandma (who used to be 10 min away) to come over and pull it but he said he is 7 now, he can do it!
So at dinner he said he just couldn't eat because of his tooth--I said well pull it or eat anyway! I ask if I can see it--(it is hanging by a small thread) I barely touch it and he screams for 10 minutes (seriously)



Finally he calms down and pulls it out himself and is super proud of himself!!!

Happy November!!! I am thankful!

I am thankful everyday but in November we all seem to let everyone know!! I will try to post daily (we will see how that goes)

Ok I think I will start with the BIG ONE!! I am thankful for Ian!!!  Although he drives me batshit crazy sometimes, I can not imagine life without him, yes we have our ups and downs but always get thru!!
 He came in to my world full of baggage with out blinking an eye! He works his ass off so I can stay home with the kids, most men do their 40hrs a week and call it good--he does 100hrs a week--that is a lot!!
He love loves his home/family time!! He is the best daddy any of my kids could ever ask for--he listens to them, reads to them and plays with them (and lets Zach drive)
He defiantly is teaching the boys how to treat a women and the girls how they should be treated--I think now a days this is very important!!!
