Pigtails and crewcuts

So it was time for K to get a haircut (yes I cut 2 inches off but it still looks good--not too short)  We absolutley hate not having Rita so close to us, but I found this little kids hair cut place--where the kids can sit in the cars, or play the xbox while they get their hair cut--pretty cool (and way better than costcutters!!!)

The weather has been unbelievably nice, so today we hit the zoo (and so did everyone else cause the parking lot was crazy!)

Going to FL??

So I have been trying to come up with money for Zach's trip--this is a hard thing to do when you live pay check to paycheck....a good friend of mine told me about GOFUNDME.com...a fundraising (dummy proof) tool!! This has been the most awesome thing ever!! we are almost half way to our goal, just from family and friends donating--I am so happy!!! (especially when I found out his plane ticket is almost $650--yikes)

I got 40lbs of fresh non hormonal chicken for Zaycon...bright it home packaged it up with my food saver!!! I love having a freezer full!!!!

Seriously worst sick season ever!! We usually are pretty healthy--get something here and there but nothing like this season!! I think we have been to the dr more in the past two months then in the past 2 years for sickness!! UGH

So as of today's count (since January): B in 3 times for strep/staph, Z in for hurt wrist, A threw up at school and now Q has impetigo!! It seems the wrestling team has been passing this around (thanks for cleaning the mats coaches!)

I think I wanna run away far far away, to somewhere warm, on the beach, with Mai Tais!!!

Leave it to the professionals

I usually don't paint my own nails because they always look crappy--but today as I painted the girls' nails, I decided to do mine--ugh that is why I let the professionals do it--doesn't look neat and messes up as soon as I touch anything--even if I wait an hour!!

I would say her birthday was a success!! She couldn't be happier!!!
She had an amazing cake made by Cassie (seriously so yummy!! and gorgeous)
