We celebrated Brooklyn's 6th birthday today--it was a success!!! She is so happy her friends were here!!
I am truly thankful I have found friends who are now apart of our lives!!! Friends are the best and I think all of mine are the bestest (all of my old, new and future friends)!!!

What do you do when you can't go anywhere...bake!! I love to bake you know!!! So I made lemon cupcakes, with raspberry filly and lemon frosting! So yummy and instead of them sitting hear taunting me to eat them--I sent them all to the neighbors!!!

Ian brought in this frog and I go "oh looks like a piss frog" (we called them this growing up cause they piss on you when you catch them)

Cheyenne Frontier Days

We took the day to head up to Cheyenne! We had so much fun!! And got to see Mike and Chris on one of there BBQ tour stops!! Can't wait to see them in Conifer!!
Kids got to ride a couple rides, watch Indian dances, eat cotton cant and eat lots of BBQ!!!

31 getaway!!

I Love that once a year I have a planned mini vacay!!!  We had amazing speakers (including Leigh Ann Touhey from the Blindside) learned lots of good info, and knew GOD was there with us!!!

31 is not all about selling bags, it is based off of "Proverbs 31", they have a big organization call Thirtyone Gives (which every time you round up--it goes to this organization)
So while we were there some of us got to stuff bags for women with "world vision"
First they get these awesome pink cosmetic kits-we added shampoo, soap, toothbrush and things like that--then we wrote little personal notes for each bag, for these women who will recieve them---THIS WAS MY AH-HA (total GOD moment) I turned around and asked the head 31 lady of it gives--How do I get involved-she took me to the main world vision guy and I gave him all my info to get involved!!
Single moms have always had a HUGE place in my heart and this is where I wanna help!!! So stayed tuned with all of that!!

Thirty one Gives is also partners with "Ronald McDonald House" the one in Denver is in Great need and I will also be doing what I can to get there and see what I can do there!!!

Mini Vacay

I am preparing for my yearly 31 conference trip--what's awesome this year is that it is in Denver!!!
Ian took a few vacations days to keep herd on the kiddos (we don't have the luxury of having others help us in these times) But I think he is very happy to be able to spend the few days with them!!!

Growing healthy kids

All the kiddos have been to their well baby checks in the past couple weeks and all are doing great!!

Quintin FINALLY grew, he grew 5 inches and gained 25lbs since last year (didnt think he was ever gonna grow hahah) since football practice has started a few weeks ago this kid is pure muscle!!!
Aydan--this was a hilarious visit!! First he had to pee in a cup (he looked at me like I was insane) So I told him I would hold it and he just pee in it but not on me--he did, but the whole time going, "this is weird and so disgusting ha) Then the nurse did her thing and told him to strip down to his undies--UM WHAT?? he was very hesitant and I had to coax him into doing so.  So then the dr comes in, talks to him, checks him out and asks him to drop his undies--OMG the look (I was laughing on the inside) we both explained to him only drs and parents can look at him boy parts, he finally got close enough for the dr to "check" him.  I hope he isnt too traumatized (but it was kinda funny)

So hopefully we have a healthy winter (haha) and dont have to go back to dr till next year (I know wishful thinking!!)

No bubbles

Ian soaks in the hot tub while the kids have swim lessons. He told me the old ladies keep turning the bubbles on. Today after the old lady water class, sure enough they turn the bubbles on and get in.   The look on his face today haha
